What is the difference between day and night owls?
The night active owls have completly dark eyes, while the day hunting owls have green, yellow or orange eyes.
The Southern Boobook Owl is the smallest owl sort of Australia. These owls can be found throughout New Zealand, Tasmania and most of Australia. They prefer woodlands with trees and fields but can also be found in the tropical forests of Australia. They live together in families, usually two parents with about three younger owls and hunt primarily at night.
